Vietnam MIC issued a new version of the draft mandatory product certification regulations

The Ministry of Telecommunications (MIC) of Vietnam issued a draft mandatory certification regulation on February 8, which will replace the 02/2022/TT-BTTT issued last May.
The Ministry of Telecommunications (MIC) of Vietnam issued a draft mandatory certification regulation on February 8, which will replace the 02/2022/TT-BTTT issued last May. The new draft is currently in the public consultation period and is expected to be officially released in the second quarter.
Mandatory implementation date: July 1, 2023.
Compared with the old version 02/2022/TT-BTTT, the main changes of the new version are as follows:

2. RFID/NFC 13.56MHz is removed from Appendix I, and such products only need to apply for DoC (Appendix II)
Reminder: After the new draft takes effect, according to the catalog, if the standards listed in the old certificate have been replaced by the new standard, the product needs to update the MIC certificate in time after testing according to the new standard. If there are additional safety regulations and EMC requirements, relevant products need to be submitted for certificate after supplementary testing.
