This is the first independent national food safety standard specifically for silicone rubber materials in China, which puts forward comprehensive upgrading requirements for raw material control, additive list, and migration limits of silicone rubber materials.

GB 44499-2024 "Code for Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" is a mandatory national standard, which will be implemented on September 1, 2026. The new standard fully introduces the concept of lifecycle management, aiming to standardize the energy-saving and environmental performance of household appliances at various stages of their lifecycle, including design, production, installation, and recycling.
