Exemption from residue limits for o-phenylmethyl p-chlorophenol in the United States
According to the Federal Register of the United States, on May 5, 2023, Regulation No. 2023-09640 was issued exempting the residual limit of o-Benzyl-P Chlorophenol.
According to regulations, when o-phenylmethyl p-chlorophenol is used as an antimicrobial pesticide ingredient on the food contact surface of public eating places, dairy processing equipment, food processing equipment, and utensils, its residue limit is exempted.
This regulation will come into effect on May 5, 2023, and requests for opposition or hearing must be submitted before July 5, 2023.
