The New York State Senate has passed the S3529A bill, which aims to ban the sale or distribution of women's hygiene products containing potentially harmful chemicals such as perfluorinated and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) starting from January 2025. Upstream companies involved in spices, colorants, dyes, preservatives, or other intentionally added harmful ingredients are also prohibited from selling products containing such chemicals.

On January 31, 2024, the New York State Senate passed Act S3529A, aimed at prohibiting the sale or distribution of women's hygiene products containing potentially harmful chemicals such as perfluorinated and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) starting from January 2025. Upstream companies involved in spices, colorants, dyes, preservatives, or other intentionally added harmful ingredients are also prohibited from selling products containing such chemicals. Dibutyl phthalate
Di (2) ethylhexyl phthalate

Triclosan
Isobutyl -, isopropyl -, butyl -, and propyl benzoate
Butylphenylmethylpropanal
Mercury and related compounds
Lead
