The GC logo certification certificate serves as an entry certificate for products entering the markets of the Gulf 7 countries. When the standard version is updated, the transition period for the old version of the standard is 2 years, and a batch of standards will be mandatory to be implemented in 2024.
The GC logo certification certificate serves as an entry certificate for products entering the markets of 7 Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen), and its certification adopts the latest versions of GSO/IEC/EN standards.
When the standard version is updated, the transition period for the old version of the standard is 2 years. After the transition period ends, the latest version will be used for GC certification.
In addition, after the release of the new standard, certificates obtained based on the previous old standard must be updated before the mandatory implementation date of the new standard, otherwise the certificate will be suspended or revoked.
