Important Reminder: The submission deadline for this year's DOE CCMS report by the US Department of Energy is September 1, 2024!

The US Department of Energy (DOE) CCMS requires that floor lamps, dehumidifiers, metal halide lamp ballasts and fixtures, external power sources, pumps, battery chargers, and other products submit annual certification by September 1, 2024. Delay or failure to submit will result in model removal.

On August 6, 2024, the US Department of Energy (DOE) CCMS notified via email that the submission of this year's report will end on September 1, 2024. According to 10 CFR 429.12 (d), CCMS requires annual certification for most products or equipment within its regulatory scope.

Special reminder, the annual submission deadline for the following product categories is September 1, 2024:

Ground lamp
dehumidifier
Metal halide lamp ballasts and fixtures
External power supply
pump
Battery charger

In addition, the annual report deadline for the total number of external power supplies (exempt from VI level energy-saving standards and with a total quantity exceeding 1000 units) sold from August 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024 is also September 1.

The impact of delayed or non submission of DOE annual reports:

If you fail to submit the DOE annual report in a timely manner or fail to submit the DOE annual report, it will result in the removal of listed models from DOE's list.

DOE Certification Management System (CCMS):

DOE CCMS is managed by the DOE Electrical Standards Program of the United States Department of Energy. CCMS is an online interface through which manufacturers of covered products and commercial equipment must submit compliance certification information to DOE electronically. The public certification database houses only store the certification records of the current basic model submitted within the past year. Although manufacturers may submit new information daily, the certification database will be updated approximately every two weeks to give the US Department of Energy (DOE) time to actively review all submitted information.
