Starting from August 1, 2026, the GB/T 4706 series of 3C safety standards for household appliances will be mandatory. Guidelines for CCC Version Change in GB/T 4706.14
01. Scope of applicable products
This document is applicable to household and similar portable appliances with cooking functions such as baking, roasting, and roasting, with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V.
Examples of appliances include indoor barbecue grills, bread makers, marshmallows, contact grills (grilles), oven stoves, food dehydrators, stoves, concave electromagnetic stoves, popcorn machines, portable ovens, cheese grills, radiation grills, ovens, rotary grills, barbecue forks, bread toasters, and waffle ovens.

Main technical changes of GB/T 4706.14
01. GB 4706.29-2008 upgraded to GB/T 4706.14-2024
The old version of GB 4706.29-2008 "Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Special requirements for portable induction cookers" has been upgraded to the new version of GB/T 4706.14-2024. The certificate application standard for the old version of GB 4706.29-2008 needs to meet all the requirements of the supplementary new version of GB/T 4706.14-2024.

The symbol for "high temperature surface" should be visible during normal use of the appliance, including operating switches, adjusting controllers, or opening lids, doors, or drawers. This symbol should not be placed on thermal functional surfaces.

04. Standard requirement added: When operating the concave electromagnetic stove, use the cookware allocated by the manufacturer that matches it.
Place sand or granular materials in the pot to achieve a total weight of 1.8kg ± 0.1kg, including the pot, and conduct 10 drop tests, followed by pressure resistance and overflow testing.

06、The structure of the ejection device of the bread slice toaster should be such that it can automatically close even if it is stuck by the bread slice after normal baking.
Check its compliance through the following experiments. The bread toaster operates at rated voltage and causes the ejection device to malfunction. After normal baking, the electric heating element should be automatically powered off through at least one full pole micro disconnect device. However, if the electric heating element is not touched by the 12th test specimen of GB/T16842-2016, a single pole micro disconnect device is allowed to be used.
