The UK has officially included 15 substances of high concern (SVHC) in the UK REACH candidate list

On June 15, 2026, the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) officially announced the inclusion of 15 highly concerned substances (SVHC) in the UK REACH candidate list, directly affecting multiple industries such as electronic and electrical equipment, food contact materials, cosmetics, and textiles. Suppliers must immediately fulfill their legal obligations such as reporting substances in the goods and communicating supply chain information.

On June 15, 2026, the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) officially announced the inclusion of 15 highly concerned substances (SVHC) in the UK REACH candidate list. This is the first substantial update to the candidate list in the UK since the end of the Brexit transition period in 2021.

From the use of 15 substances, industries such as electronics and electrical, plastic rubber, textile and clothing, paint and ink, essence, solvent, etc. need to pay more attention.
