EU issues new proposal on Persistent organic pollutant

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) issued a proposal to list D4, D5 and D6 in Annex B of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants on Persistent organic pollutant.
On June 15, 2023, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) held consultations on the draft proposal for listing D4, D5 and D6 in Annex B of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants on Persistent organic pollutant. They are grouped into groups with similar chemical structures and hazard characteristics that can be substituted for each other. There are currently no known natural sources of D4, D5, and D6. The specific situation is as follows:
