The South Korean government supports the registration of K-REACH enterprises with unprecedented efforts!

The South Korean Ministry of Environment (MoE) released a list of substances for two K-REACH registration support projects, aiming to actively support enterprises in K-REACH registration.

Recently, the South Korean Ministry of Environment (MoE) released a list of substances for two K-REACH registration support projects, aiming to actively support enterprises in K-REACH registration.
The supporting objects of these two projects must meet the following requirements:
The annual production/import volume of substances ranges from 100 to 1000 tons;
Completed registration or preliminary registration before November 2024;
The registered consortium has selected representatives and includes two or more small or medium-sized enterprises.

Project 1: Toxicity Test Support Project

Provide cost support to enterprises that provide experimental data through domestic GLP experimental institutions

Provide support of 80% to 95% of the total cost for animal substitution testing projects, and 60% to 70% of the total cost for general testing projects (priority support for projects that can undergo animal substitution testing)

Project 2: Registration Consultation Support Project

Provide partial support for the joint registration consultation fees of existing chemical substances (based on the maximum registered tonnage standard), that is, provide fixed financial support based on the maximum registered tonnage of the registered consortium.
