Thailand reports on the Ministerial Regulation on Fixed General Lighting Fixtures

Thailand has issued a Ministerial Regulation on Fixed General Lighting Fixtures, which requires that fixed general lighting fixtures used with LED light sources comply with Thai Industrial Standard TIS 902 Part 2 (1) -2563 (2020) "Fixed General Lighting Fixtures".
On August 14, 2024, Thailand announced the Ministerial Regulation on Fixed General Lighting Fixtures. This regulation requires that fixed universal lighting fixtures used with LED light sources shall comply with the Thai Industrial Standard TIS 902 Part 2 (1) -2563 (2020) "Fixed Universal Lighting Fixtures". This regulation applies to the requirements for fixed universal lighting fixtures used with LED light sources, with a working voltage of AC voltage not exceeding 1000 volts, consisting of one or more of the following:
1. Lighting fixtures with drivers;
2. Lamps with LED light source;
3. Lamps with drivers and LED light sources.
This regulation does not apply to blank lighting fixtures, and the evaluation period ends on October 13, 2024.
