The national standard GB/T 43813-2024 "General graphic symbols for household and similar electrical appliances" will be implemented from October 1, 2024.
This standard specifies the terminology, classification, and symbols for general graphic signs of household and similar electrical appliances, and specifies the general and design requirements for graphic signs. Suitable for the design, production, sales, and inspection of household and similar electrical appliances. It mainly specifies the terminology and definitions of graphic signs, safety signs, functional signs, and warning signs, and classifies them according to their functions. Principles have been established for the height, shape, proportion, color, and text of graphic signs, as well as for the application of safety signs and graphic signs.
At the same time, it also specifies the design requirements for common graphic signs of household and similar electrical appliances, including sign styles, Chinese and English names, categories, functions, and corresponding explanations.
