Gas appliances and equipment exported to Morocco must be marked with Cmim Mark starting from December 20, 2024

Starting from December 20, 2024, gas appliances and equipment exported to Morocco must be marked with Cmim Mark. Traders must prepare a declaration of conformity and attach technical documents, and affix the conformity mark on the product or its packaging.
Cmim Mark
In order to prove that the product complies with Morocco's technical regulations and standards, all products that comply with the provisions of Law No. 24-09 must
be affixed with a clear Cmim Mark in order to enter the Moroccan market smoothly.
According to the Moroccan Official Gazette's Decree No. 1616.22 on the safety of gas appliances and equipment, starting from December 20, 2024 (based on the
arrival date), these products will also need to be labeled with Cmim Mark.
The new law stipulates that traders of gas appliances and equipment must prepare a conformity declaration and attach technical documents, and affix conformity
markings on the products or their packaging.
At present, Cmim Mark still needs to be affixed to the following three types of products:
1. Electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits (so-called low voltage (LV))as per MO n°2573-14.
Low voltage (LVD) electrical equipment;
2. Equipment affected by electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)as per MO n°2574-14.
Equipment affected by electromagnetic compatibility (EMC);
3. Toys as per n°2575-14.
