The new mandatory national standards for energy efficiency of these two types of household appliances have been officially released!

The mandatory national standards for energy efficiency of household appliances, GB 38383-2025 "Limit Values and Grades for Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency of Dishwashers" and GB 38448-2025 "Limit Values and Grades for Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency of Intelligent Toilets", have been officially released and will be implemented on April 1, 2027.

Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (State Standardization Administration) approved the release of two mandatory national standards for household appliance energy efficiency, GB 38383-2025 "Dishwasher Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency Limit Values and Grades" and GB 38448-2025 "Intelligent Toilet Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency Limit Values and Grades", which will be officially implemented on April 1, 2027.

Release date: August 1, 2025

Implementation date: April 1, 2027

Alternative standard: GB 38383-2019 "Dishwasher Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency Limits and Grades" (all replaced)

GB 38448-2025 "Limit Values and Grades of Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency for Intelligent Toilets"

Implementation date: April 1, 2027
