The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) released a consolidated version of standard IEC 62885-4:2020 "Surface cleaning appliances - Part 4: Cordless dry vacuum cleaners for household or similar purposes - Performance measurement methods".
On July 20, 2023, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) released a consolidated version of standard IEC 62885-4:2020 "Surface cleaning appliances - Part 4: Cordless dry vacuum cleaners for household or similar purposes - Performance measurement methods".
The IEC 62885-4:2020+AMD1:2023 standard is applicable to the performance measurement of cordless dry vacuum cleaners used in households or similar conditions. The measurement results obtained based on this standard can be compared with the measurement results obtained based on the wired vacuum cleaner in the IEC 62885-2 standard. This standard aims to clarify the main performance characteristics of cordless dry vacuum cleaners that are of great concern to users, and to specify their performance measurement methods.
