The EU POPs Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 Appendix I has added restrictions on cloning, requiring a limit of 1000mg/kg for substances, mixtures, and articles from October 15, 2025, and a limit of 1mg/kg from April 15, 2028. At this point, the substances restricted in Part A of Appendix I of the POPs regulations have reached 32 items.
