Standard implementation schedule
1. From March 1, 2023, the product conformity certificate (PCoC) and shipping conformity certificate (SCoC) can be issued only after the above electrical appliances meet the requirements of the new standard. The technical documents of existing PCoC that are still valid after March 1, 2023 should be updated to ensure that at least the new standards have been met before the subsequent issuance of SCoC.
2. From June 1, 2023, Saudi Arabia's customs will not allow the above electrical appliances that do not meet the requirements of the new standard to enter the market. The requirements of the new standard are also mandatory for the above-mentioned electrical appliances produced locally in Saudi Arabia.
3. From August 1, 2024, the above electrical appliances that do not meet the requirements of the new standard will be banned from selling in Saudi Arabia.
