◉ Detection Introduction
With the advancement of science and technology, the application of batteries has become more and more extensive, and has been used in all walks of life, such as mobile phones, digital products, electric vehicles and other industries. Batteries play an increasingly important role in people's lives. The issue of battery safety has become the focus of attention. In recent years, accidents caused by battery safety problems abound, and the consequences of many problems are striking. Battery safety affects the safety of users. ◉ Battery Classification
(1) Classification by electrolyte types
Alkaline batteries: The electrolyte is mainly KOH solution, such as alkaline zinc-manganese batteries (commonly known as alkaline manganese batteries or alkaline batteries), nickel-cadmium batteries and nickel-hydrogen batteries.
Acid battery: The electrolyte is mainly sulfuric acid aqueous solution, such as lead-acid battery
Neutral batteries: The electrolyte is a salt solution, such as zinc-manganese batteries and seawater batteries
Organic electrolyte battery: the electrolyte is an organic solution, such as lithium battery, lithium ion battery
(2) Classification by positive and negative electrode materials used in batteries
Zinc series batteries: zinc-manganese batteries and zinc-silver batteries, etc.
Nickel series batteries: nickel-cadmium batteries and nickel-hydrogen batteries, etc.
Lead series batteries: lead-acid batteries, etc.
Lithium series batteries: lithium ion batteries and lithium manganese batteries, etc.
Manganese dioxide series batteries: zinc manganese batteries and alkaline manganese batteries
Air (Oxygen) Series Batteries: Zinc Air Batteries
(3) Classification by working characteristics and storage methods
Primary battery: also known as primary battery, that is, batteries that cannot be recharged, such as carbon batteries, alkaline batteries, lithium manganese batteries, lithium sub batteries, zinc manganese batteries, zinc silver batteries, zinc air batteries, lithium iron batteries, etc.
Secondary battery: also known as storage battery, rechargeable battery, such as lead-acid battery, nickel-cadmium battery, nickel-metal hydride battery and lithium-ion battery, etc.
Fuel cell: The positive and negative electrodes themselves do not contain active materials, and the active materials are continuously added from the outside.
Reserve battery: The battery is stored without direct contact with the electrolyte, and the electrolyte, such as magnesium-silver chloride (seawater battery), is not added until the battery is in use.
