California CEC Energy Efficiency Certification
◉ Certification Introduction
CEC is the Appliance Efficiency Regulations implemented by the California Energy Commission on December 30, 2005. The aim is to reduce energy consumption in California, improve the energy system, promote a strong economy, and maintain a healthy environment. The standards in this regulation apply to products sold or distributed in California, with reference to regulation CEC-400-2017-002.
CEC California Energy Efficiency Certification is a mandatory energy efficiency certification issued by the California Energy Commission for electrical products currently being sold, covering most household and commercial appliances. Products applying for California energy efficiency certification must undergo testing in a laboratory authorized by the California Energy Commission.

◉ Certification significance
With more and more electronic products appearing in daily life, "saving energy" will become an urgent issue that everyone must face in the 21st century. The California Energy Commission is about to implement new mandatory standards for energy efficiency of AC-DC and AC-AC external power supplies on July 1, 2006, which will impact almost all electronic products.
This standard will cover all products that use external power supplies (such as chargers and adapters), including mobile phones, home wireless phones, portable music players, handheld game consoles, toys, etc., and require these products to use energy more efficiently in standby and use states. This means that after mid-2006, all transformers, external power supplies, adapters, and chargers used and intended for sale in the United States must undergo design changes.
In addition to saving energy, CEC's new regulations will also have a significant impact on environmental protection. According to the company's statistics, if all external power supplies in California could comply with the new standards, California would be able to reduce over 360000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, which is equivalent to the annual emissions of 60000 cars. This regulation stipulates that electrical products sold in California, USA must first comply with equipment energy efficiency regulations. The regulation specifies energy efficiency index requirements, measurement methods, and phased implementation plans for 58 types of electrical products. According to the regulations, electrical products must be tested by qualified laboratories in accordance with relevant US regulations or standards to prove compliance before they can be sold in California, USA.
◉ Certified product classification
The CEC certification specification requires a total of 58 categories of products to meet its requirements, and these 58 categories of products almost cover all of our electronic and electrical products. 3. Audio and video products: DVD player;
4. Television;

10. Motor products.
