◉ Certification Introduction
NF is the code name of the French standard, which was implemented in 1938, and its governing body is the French Association for Standardization (AFNOR). France prepares a standard revision plan every 3 years and adjusts it once a year. The French Standardization Association directs the technical work of the 17 large standardization planning groups (GPNs) and guides their coordination with the planning committees (COPs). Each planning group is guided by a Strategic Orientation Committee (COS), which brings together decision makers in the relevant economic sectors, and is also responsible for prioritizing work, participating in the search for funding, and allocating funds for planned projects.
