◉ Certification Introduction
The CB system is a set of global mutual recognition system established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IECEE). The certification bodies of IECEE member states test the safety performance of electrical products based on IEC standards. Accreditation aims to reduce international trade barriers arising from different national certification or approval guidelines, but it is a non-mandatory performance test certification. The CB laboratory (CBTL) is a laboratory accepted by the CB system. It tests one or more product categories and issues a CB test report under the responsibility of a specific national certification body (NCB). There are more than 50 countries in the world participating in this mutual recognition system. After an enterprise obtains a CB certificate from one of the institutions, it can be easily converted into a certificate of other institutions, thereby obtaining an access card to enter the relevant national market.

◉ Certification Scope
The products covered by the CB system are within the scope of the IEC standards recognized by the IECEE system. According to the rules of the CB system, the CB test certificate is only valid when it is provided together with the CB test report.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is not currently included in the CB system unless specifically required by the IEC standard used. Such as: power adapters, speakers, headphones and other audio and video, information technology products, air purifiers, rice cookers and other home appliances, LED control devices, LED desk lamps and other lighting equipment products.
