◉ Certification Introduction
The UAE Conformity Assessment Scheme, also known as ECAS the Emiratesconfirmity Assessment Scheme, is a mandatory certification program implemented by the UAE government to ensure consumer safety and health, and to ensure that the environment and products that affect the country's economic development comply with UAE national standards or co adoption standards. Products within the scope of the plan must comply with relevant standards and obtain a Certificate of Conformity (COC) through a third-party certification body designated by the UAE government before entering the UAE market for sale.
◉ Product Range
Safety: Household appliances such as electric water heaters, refrigerators/freezers, air conditioners, irons, microwaves, washing machines&dryers, kitchen machinery, plugs and sockets, converters, IT/AV, power tools, etc.
Energy efficiency: "water storage" electric water heaters, washing machines&dryers, refrigerators/freezers, dishwashers, air conditioners, etc.
RoHS： Large household appliances, small household appliances, information technology and communication equipment, consumer devices, lighting equipment, electrical and electronic tools, leisure toys and sports equipment, etc.
Note: As a member state of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the United Arab Emirates also implements GC certification requirements for low-voltage electrical equipment. Products subject to GC certification must also obtain a GC certification certificate before they can enter the local market for sale.

◉ Precautions
Starting from March 15, 2025, all ECAS-LVE certified products shipped to the United Arab Emirates are required to be replaced with the latest ECAS logo.
For inventory products that have already entered the UAE market, mandatory replacement with the latest logo is required after September 15, 2025.
